Tamil director Lingusamy signs up Salman Khan?
Tamil directors are Bollywood bound these days. From Mani Ratnam to Gautham Menon almost all the directors are keen on testing waters in Hindi. So how can Lingusamy be far behind?
The latest buzz is that the director is likely to remake his forthcoming release Vettai in Hindi. Guess what? Reportedly the director is keen on casting B town's bad boy Salman Khan in Arya's role for the Hindi version. So with Lingusamy planning to remake the film, will Madhavan reprise his role in the Hindi version too?
Meanwhile earlier there reports that the director also has plans to remake his hit films Paiyaa and Sandakozhi (with Abhishek Bachchan) in Hindi.
Director Lingusamy is planning to remake Vettai in Hindi. The director is looking to strike gold in Bollywood and feels that Vettai would be his ticket. Talks are on with Salman Khan to essay the role Arya did in Vettai. It is also believed that Amala Paul may get a chance in the Hindi version as well. The stars for the roles played by Sameera Reddy and Madhavan are yet to be finalized, say sources.
Vettai is slated for release this Pongal. Music for this film has been scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Arya, Amala Paul, Madhavan and Sameera Reddy play the lead roles in this film.
